Life should be simple after a wolf finds his mate but Ryan is quickly coming to see that love is never simple. Chloe’s humanity does nothing to change the plans he’d made for himself decades ago but her refusal to believe he exists is a problem he hadn’t planned for.

Determined to have his mate, Ryan thrusts her into his world but danger quickly comes to surround her as foes both new and old make themselves known. It doesn’t take long for Chloe to realise that the creature that has her has many all too human flaws.

As her hatred thaws into like and like blossoms into love, the unanswered questions about Chloe’s roots come to the surface and threaten not only Ryan’s life but the existence of all werewolves.

With the power to change the fate of all wolves will Chloe turn her back on all she’s ever known to embrace a life with Ryan or will his pride push her away and condemn them both?

Excerpt:
“And if I say I won’t go with you?”

His lips formed into a thin line at the very idea that she would refuse his request, preferring to stay with the murderers that likely made up her family. “You don’t get a say in the matter.”

“You realise what you’re planning is illegal, it’s called kidnapping.”

“I’m well aware of that. Don’t worry, I’ve done this before.”

“I don’t want to go anywhere with you,” she informed him stubbornly.

“Chloe, love, don’t be difficult.”

“I’m not your love,” she snapped.

“Chloe, you either pack for yourself or I do it for you but I won’t know what’s important enough to take with you.”

She folded her hands across her chest and looked him directly in the eye, stubbornness embossed upon her features. “I’m not going to play an active part in my kidnapping.”

“Fine, if that’s going to be your attitude then we’ll just have to do things the hard way.” There was nothing overtly threatening in his statement but her body shivered nonetheless.

What exactly is he planning?

Amazon reviews:

  • This is the third book in her werewolf series and it is absolutely wonderful! The reader can clearly see character development as well as the intense passion between the main protagonists. It’s a nice intake on the cliche werewolf story that will leave you wanting to read more. I was actually looking forward to read on about what will inevitable happen in the next chapters. It’s well written and will make you want your own werewolf mate. Honestly, the whole idea of mating for life is pretty envious. Especially since most of the human partners we find in reality can’t hold a candle to Ryan’s intense personality. I suggest you get a copy of your own.
  • I love how in this series she developes the charaters and their quest for a mate. Again the words flow amazingly. Make sure to read A Wolf’s Duty and A Wolf’s Oath before reading this one. If you read them out of order the story is still easy to follow, I think it would just make it more enjoyable over all to have all the back ground work.
  • This was my favorite book in the series. I love to go back and just read through it over again whenever im feeling down. Ryan always seems to make me smile whether its because of his stupidity or his sweetness. I think the reason i love this one so much is because chloe is human and easy to relate to and ryan makes me wanna throw a couple of random objects at his head *wink wink* definate must read if your into werewolf books.

    Hi,
I started reading a wolf’s pride from fictionpress and im so in love with ryan and chloe! and was feeling really disappointed that you have to stop posting the chapters due to plagiarism. urgh.. but i completely understand.
so i tried to purchase the other two werewolf series from itunes and i can’t! As it is only available for purchase in the US and not anywhere else (im from singapore).

But i have to say, i am absolutely in love with a wolf’s pride and is there anyway i could purchase the ebook directly from you?(since i do not have an amazon account and im not too much of a ebook person as i still prefer holding a book in my hands and flipping the good old pages than holding some electronics., i’m old fashioned hah.)
    I do have a ipod touch and a ipad though … 🙂

      Hey Yvonne,
Sorry that itunes was being naughty! But it’s great that you enjoyed the books and want to get a copy! It makes my heart sing!
Now there are three options for you.
1 – You can actually get a physical copy of A Wolf’s Pride if that’s what you prefer from Blurb.com
      http://www.blurb.com/bookstore/detail/1177896
2 – You can head over to smashwords and buy the epub version of A Wolf’s Pride and then when it’s downloaded onto your desktop you just drop it into itunes and you can access it from your ipod or ipad 🙂
      http://www.smashwords.com/books/view/35586
3 – Get the book from amazon and then open it with the kindle app on your ipad. If you get the kindle version you can head over to kindlegraph.com and request an autograph for the book 😉

Hello Jennifer , I guess I was unlucky but on the note*Lucky* , i did not find your Wolf series until searching for days on a good werewolf series , that was not for the typical YA readers , not being rude but I am in my 40’s , love werewolf books . So I got to purchase all of them at once ( that was the Lucky part 🙂 ) because if I had read one & had to wait for the others , the anticipation would have had me Frantic ! You are so talented & such a Phenominal author , a brilliant mind !!
I cant wait for the next one , will it be the final one? ….Is your other series about werewolf packs also? , I’m sure anything you write would hold my attentsion

Hiya there ! I just wanted to tell you that me and my friends are in love with your wolf series , and as I was about to finish a wolf’s Pride , you took your books down , I won’t be able to understand what distress it causes you as a victim of plagiarism , but I do know that it’s pretty bad for such genuine authors like you. I’m just 17 and I live here in Dubai and have got no credit card or other online sources to pay for your book to get it downloaded , I know I am asking too much by getting wolf’s pride for free from you but I just wanted to give it a try..

Just to let you know that if the characters are suppose to be American in this one you have two minor mistakes you might want to change. When they stop to have breakfast you say that Ryan orders beans, that would be very uncommon in the US, I have never seen anyone but English do that. Also when she is cleaning his wounds she uses a “flannel” the character in the book would have used the term “wash cloth”.

    Still enjoy reading them though!
